Marjoram Architects is a RIBA chartered practice passionate about improving the built environment through better architectural design.

What We Do

Our South London studio comprises architects, designers and architectural technicians working on projects across a broad range of sectors.

The Team

Kristian Marjoram
Director (Architect)

RIBA ARB BA (Hons) Dip Arch

Kristian is passionate about creating homes and spaces that bring joy to the people who use them.   Working collaboratively with people is at the heart of what he enjoys, working closely with them to realise their brief or help solve their problems through design.

  • Whether working with existing buildings or delivering new-build projects, Kristian enjoys partnering with like-minded people to create architecture that benefits its users and enhances the built environment.

After a successful decade in Director and Associate roles within award-winning architectural practices, Kristian founded Marjoram Architects in early 2016. His aim was to establish a studio focused on collaboration, thoughtful residential design, and high-quality, responsive architecture.

Kristian’s career spans more than 20 years, during which he has gained extensive experience across the residential, workplace, and education sectors.

He has designed and delivered a wide range of projects valued between £100,000 and £100,000,000, including major award-winning schemes such as the King’s Cross regeneration for Related Argent.

His work also includes projects for independent higher education providers, local authorities, and private sector clients.

Kristian is ARB registered and has been a fully qualified chartered architect with the RIBA since 2004.

Slawomir Turek
Associate (Architect)

BA (Hons) MArch ARB

Slawomir specialises in residential and workplace design.   Slawomir is experienced in leading whole house refurbishments, bespoke extensions and new build dwellings, collaborating closely with both clients and contractors from project inception to completion.

  • With a brilliant eye for detail and technical design, Slawomir also leads the technical delivery across multiple projects of varying size and complexity.

His calm and considered approach resonates through the practice and Slawomir was recently promoted to Associate in the Autumn of 2025 in recognition of his fantastic contribution since joining Marjoram Architects.

Prior to joining Marjoram Architects in 2020, Slawomir studied at London Metropolitan University while in parallel working in practice, graduating with a Masters in Architecture in 2019.   His thesis ‘Cultural and Working Environments’ challenged the economic position of flexible, shared workspaces by proposing a new self-sustainable community hub for the Somerset House in London.

Slawomir achieved a distinction for his post graduate studies and qualified as an Architect (ARB) in 2023.

We believe that the best design outcome is a result of a healthy collaboration between the client and architect.

How We Work

Through detailed consultation, engagement and collaboration with our clients at every stage of the design process, our goal is to create a design solution that meets the needs of the brief.

Every project takes into consideration the client’s budget and timescales to deliver a solution appropriate to the needs of the end user.

We care about the built environment and the natural environment. Our approach from the outset is to create a design solution which responds to and contributes positively to its immediate context.

We promote an integrated design approach and consider both environmental and technical factors from project inception, exploring with our clients’ how these may benefit and inform the design proposals.

When required to form larger teams, we draw on our extensive network of consultants, working collaboratively, to ensure best value is achieved for each of our clients.

We offer a free initial consultation on all projects and tailor the scope of services to meet the individual needs of each client.
